Linux Academy Dot Com Is Worth the Stickerprice

I finally buckled down and spent some of my learning budget on Linux Academy. I had heard it was good but the price was high. What no one bothered to mention was just how good it is.

Why it's worth it

• YOU GET SERVERS IN THE CLOUD TO PLAY WITH AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO BURN ANOTHER GCP TRIAL OR YOUR AWS BUDGET MINDING THEM
• The content is good and they update it all the time
• they've got paths to learning not just certs
• if you are focused on certs, there seems to be a range of discounts for you

What is kinda goofy but fine

• Some of the content is showing it's age
• Badges and logs and forced community noise

What sucks

• nothing, go get a subscription
